About Reverse Everything

Reverse Everything is the personal website of Ighor July, a C++ developer, reverse engineer, cybersecurity researcher, tester, and solo indie software developer.

My background

I started learning C++ at school in 2004. That year, I won a programming competition, which led to tuition-free admission to university.

While studying, I began creating commercial software and started my first startup in 2007. Since then, my work has included successful products, failed ventures, and many projects that never reached production. Every one taught me something. I plan to share those stories here when the right time comes.

Later, I turned to hacking for good. I have helped large companies and organizations find and fix vulnerabilities through responsible disclosure. Some of the best stories are covered by nondisclosure agreements and cannot be told, but many others can. Those will become part of this site as I am able to document them responsibly.

Today, I continue building my own apps, researching software and hardware, and documenting what I learn. Some of my public security work is available on HackerOne.

About this site

The site exists as a permanent home for stories, research, technical notes, product experience, and software or hardware investigations that need more room than a social post.

The writing here may move between reverse engineering, responsible bug reports, apps, operating systems, old devices, interface details, independent projects, and the long path from noticing a problem to understanding it.

It is not only a portfolio and not only a technical blog. It is an archive for curiosity, evidence, experiments, and long-term notes about technology.
